Exposure OLAS are proud to build on our heritage within offshore sailing as we announce our partnership with 11th Hour Racing Team.

We will be supplying the team with high-performance headlamps, overboard torches and emergency strobes, used in shoreside maintenance, coach boat safety, and competitive offshore races. 11th Hour Racing Team will also be trialing Exposure OLAS’s overboard location system and helping us with new product innovations to help increase safety and performance in offshore sailing.

An equally beneficial and exciting aspect of the partnership is working closely with the sustainability experts at 11th Hour Racing Team as they help us develop and implement a full-scope sustainability policy. As a company deeply rooted in outdoor adventure we are acutely aware of the impact manufacturing can have on the surrounding environment. As we strive to increase our own best practices and those of our suppliers it is a reassurance to know that the 11th Hour Racing Team will offer continued support throughout the process.

11th Hour Racing Team is currently based in Brittany, France, and building the first IMOCA 60 designed for fully crewed racing while training in anticipation for four major offshore events in 2021. At the end of May, the Team will compete in The Ocean Race Europe, a four-week long tour from the wild Atlantic coast, through the Mediterranean sea, and finishing in the Italian port of Genoa, for both IMOCA 60 and VO65 teams. Then in August, the team will line up for The Rolex Fastnet Race, before competing in The Défi Azimut in September, and finishing the year with the Transat Jacques Vabre race from France to Martinique.
